Nielsen’s Innovation Expo
One of the highlights of the Nielsen was the Innovation Expo. The expo featured an interactive display that demonstrated how Nielsen uses technology to measure what you watch and what you buy in three separate areas: home, office, and store.
The sections that comprise the Innovation Expo are not your standard booth set ups often found at conferences. Each area is designed to look and feel exactly like what it is supposed to be — an operational store, your living room, or a typical office.
Having the ability to test drive this technology from mockups the three places where the technology is actually used makes even more of an impact, because attendees could better visualize how the technology could work for them. There, Nielsen experts were on hand to demonstrate their technology and research in action, which leaves the visitors with a more thorough understanding of how it can help them, rather than just walking through the exhibits and reading sales material.
Another incredible perk of visiting the Innovation Expo is that some of the technology available at the Innovation Expo is still in prototype form, so visitors can see firsthand what will be available to consumers down the road.
