Get Found: Use YouTube at Your Next Event

Before Google acquired YouTube in 2006, YouTube was steadily growing as the United States’ second largest search engine.  According to a March, 2010 article written on Nielsen’s blog, Google Search represents 65% of all Internet search inquiries. But how can YouTube help your next event?

YouTube’s fact sheet page claims that, “People are watching 2 billion videos a day” on their site! Having footage from your events on YouTube will give you a chance to reach an entirely new market.

Also, YouTube allows you to tag keywords to each video. When a search engine returns results for an inquiry, it also produces relevant YouTube clips. Ultimately, your event will have a better chance of being found organically simply by posting videos on YouTube.
