Holiday Party Planning (Part 1): The Do’s

The power of meeting face to face transcends all aspects of business. At Esprit Productions we consistently advocate the importance of getting your company together to share, collaborate and connect.

However, It seems like every December managers and C-level employees debate heavily on whether to hold a holiday party or not. But few discussions stray from the usual bottom line concerns!

Holiday parties can boost team morale and create ease in the office. I’ve created a list of a few holiday party “do’s” to ensure you get the most out of your corporate event:

  • Set Expectations in the Invite: There are many creative and easy ways to send out custom holiday party invitations. In addition to gathering a head count, use your invitations as a method to clearly define the details of your event. You can include information on: attire, guest policies and itinerary.

  • Hunt for Entertainment Deals: If your company has a few extra dollars to spend on holiday party entertainment be sure to get the biggest bang for your buck. The Majestic Photo Booth will supply your company with a photo booth machine by the hour (picture below). As an extra incentive this holiday season, they’ll deliver the machine with holiday props completely free!

  • Set the Mood: Seasonal music is a great way to add some ambiance to your party. Mix a few classic songs with a couple of contemporary versions to give a nice variety for everyone.
