Foursquare for Events!

In the past I’ve talked about the importance of mobile check-in features to raise visibility for corporate events. However, up until 2 weeks ago Foursquare only gave you the option of checking-in at venues and locations (i.e. Hilton Chicago or Art Institute). On August, 18 Foursquare announced that you can now check-in at a venue and post the event you’re attending!

Now Foursquare users can brag about the events they are attending in addition to bragging about the places they frequent. By using mobile check-in applications your event will gain new followers and advocates alike!
