Everything is Bigger in Texas!

I recently traveled to San Antonio to produce an event for Siemens, Building Technologies Division. We held  this annual management meeting at the JW Marriott and as they say, “Everything is bigger in Texas”. The facility features; over 1,000 rooms, 85 suites, 2 golf courses, 7 dining options and over 265,000 square feet of meeting space!

Needless to say; our presentation had to match the grandeur surroundings of the resort. In order to produce an event that was larger than life we had a crew or should I say a small village producing the show. We seated our Texas-sized staff at one giant tech table (above) front-of-house that included: 3 video technicians, a PowerPoint operator, a Teleprompter technician, 2 cameramen, our lighting director, an audio technician, a tech director and of course myself; show producer!
