2011 Wired Conference Goes Big

Last May I published a post, “Hot Tip: Draw a Bigger Crowd“. The blog entry was based on pulling a larger crowd by booking an important keynote speaker or entertainer. Someone from Wired may have read the post and took my advice because this week they announced Bill Gates as their “2011 Business Conference” keynote speaker.

Do you have big bucks for a keynote speaker? The Huffington Post listed these 5 speakers as some of the highest-paid in the world:

  1. Donald Trump: $1.5 million
  2. Bill Clinton: $150,000-$450,000
  3. Tony Blair: $250,000-$500,000
  4. Alan Greenspan: $250,000+
  5. Rudy Guiliani: $270,000+
